Working directly with our Chief Content Officer, the Learning Consultant serves as a strategic thought partner, instructional designer, and author of learning and development deliverables, including instructor-led sessions (both in-person and virtual) and self-paced learning content. Working closely with clients and Lead Consultants, the Learning Consultant works to understand, represent, and realize the learner’s needs and best interests in our work. This person will use research, client interviews, and the latest in behavioral and organizational psychology to make recommendations and develop content that delivers specific results. They’ll brief Frontier facilitators on the content, partner with Associate Consultants to deliver an exceptional client experience, and brief Graphic Designers to bring their work to life across a wide variety of print and digital mediums.
More than an instructional designer, this role needs the cognitive ability to take in a large breadth of information, challenge underlying assumptions, synthesize key themes, and articulate a unique point of view on the subject before content development even begins. And because we’re still growing this small business, other hats may include putting that keen eye and killer pen to work in other ways for our clients and facilitating from time to time.
